Kaitlyn Anne Vincie
Kaitlyn Anne Vinciewas born on December 10, 1987 She is an American journalist and sports broadcaster. She works as a reporter at Fox NASCAR and hosts the daily news and updates show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's fascination with stock car racing began when she was issued a pit lane pass, and after graduation from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a reporter for Langley Speedway. After SceneDaily published her self-made blogs on NASCAR, she gained attention. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family moved to Warrenton after Vincie had started high school. Vincie is the eldest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's maternal grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was an instructor in fifth grade, while her grandfather was on faculty at Bridgewater College. Since her early years she showed an interest in journalism. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. Vincie competed in track-and-field competitions as well as was the manager of the school's wrestling team for four years. She was the winner of the 800m race at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had the pleasure of meeting Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored and shared with Vincie a lot of information. In 2010 Vincie completed her degree at Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie was an intern in the athletics department of the school, and also worked for the USAR Pro Cup Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Vincie penned a senior thesis about the gender gap in auto racing that focussed on Danica Patrick, a woman race car driver. She began to become interested in the sport after receiving an entry into the pit lane to the NASCAR All-Star Race. She credits Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
