Ayelet Zurer
Ayelet Zurer, one of Israel's most
well-known actresses is a truly special woman. She was born in Tel Aviv, and
first was noticed by Hollywood after she was cast by Steven Spielberg in her
first character in English, Eric Bana's character's spouse in the Oscar(r)
nominated film Munich (2005). Zurer is an American actress that has appeared in
Studio films, such as Sony Pictures' Vantage Point featuring Dennis Quaid (with
William Hurt), Samuel Goldwyn’s Fugitive pieces, which starred Stephen Dillane,
Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected along with Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron
Howard's Angeles and Demons is opposite Tom Hanks. Darling companion Lawrence
Kasdan's cast with Diane Keaton and Kevin Kline, and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel,
opposite Russell Crow, is Ron Howard. Ewan McGregor was her filming partner in
Rodrigo Garcia's The Last Days in Desert. The actress also waited for The Last
Knights to be released by Kazuaki Kriya Kazuaki Kriya, Kazuaki Kriya, the
Japanese director. In recognition of her performance as Hostages the lead
actress, she won the Gold Nymph Award at the 54th festival of television in
Monte-Carlo. Ayelet was awarded an Israeli Film And Television Academy Award
for her performance as Nina in the Tragedies. Ayelet also won nominations for her
work in the films Only Dogs Run Free, The Dybbuk from the Holy Apple Field,
Desperado, and Rutenberg. She won the Haifa International Film Festival critic
award and was awarded with a star on Haifa's "film boulevard," for
her international and local accomplishments. Zurer was awarded the Israeli
Television Academy Award for her performance in "In Treatment" which
is a renowned international television show that was made into American TV by
HBO. In 2014, she was nominated for an apposite performance in the best drama
of 2014 "Shtisel" and was awarded the award for best actress in a
drama for her performance as a brilliant surgeon facing the life and death
dilemma in Hostages and was later sold to BBC4 and Canal Plus, and as an
alternative to the American ABC. Golbary is Israel's biggest female-focused
fashion house is her "face". She is a writer, producer, illustrator,
and a co-author of "Shorts" the first adult book written by Gabi
Nitazn. Ayelet is currently working on several projects in Israel and the United
States. She expressed the desire for international collaboration with directors
from around the globe because she believes in collaborating with writers and
directors who are not well-known.
